Dear Teachers, Students, and Other ICA Users,
Just a reminder that ICA's Moodle upgrade will take place this Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 5 pm.
How will this affect you?
- From approximately 5 to 5:30 pm on Tuesday, the Moodle site will be down (i.e., not functional).
- When you arrive on Wednesday morning, the site (and your course page) will have a slightly different look! Check out the demo site for a preview.
- For teachers of non-DLI classes: You won't be able to create new online lesson plans until Wednesday afternoon. You'll be able to see all of your previously-uploaded plans, but ICA has to manually install a new online lesson-plan dataform in each non-DLI course. The new lesson-plan form is expected to be operational by the close of business Wednesday; please check Moodle for an announcement.
The attached memo spells out the changes to expect and links to some video tutorials on the new navigation tools.
As always, please let me know if you have questions or concerns.
I look forward to working with you as we improve Moodle's functionality and design!
